| Description : | ReefView is located in a little hamlet close to a small fishing village and 100yards from a 2 mile long strip of sandy beach. It is bounded on either side by the last remaining mangrove refuges on this side of the island and is close to the island’s largest pineapple plantation at Cades Bay. The Penthouse Apartment is furnished with ceiling fans, 100% cotton linens, beach and bath towels and modern appliances (voltage 110v) including fridge/freezer, gas stove, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, with hot and cold water throughout plus optional A/C Cable TV, iPOD docking stations, DVD players are also available - together with FREE WiFi for those who cannot quite tear themselves away from their busy lives. The elevated terrace faces South and West offering a fabulous platform from which to observe the panoramic views of nearby Cades Reef plus the yachts, catamarans and dive boats plying their trade on the azure waters just beyond the nearby beach or to relax with a good book. It is also an awesome spot for sundowners in the evening. The Penthouse apartment has 1 dedicated bedroom with windows designed to catch the tradewinds and celing fan to circulate the cool air, a queen-size bed as well as a large ensuite bathroom with full bath and rainfall shower. (If extra sleeping quarter is required we can easily cater for this in the roomy living area by means of a fold out sofa bed and extra portable beds and proper mattresses etc.) The apartment is set in lush grounds – with banana, guava, wild cherry and palm trees - to name but a few, as well as many extravagant tropical flowers around which hummingbirds can be observed feeding on their nectar. The courtyard outside the apartment also has a freshwater shower for rinsing off sun soaked sandy bodies and beach things. Bookings of 1 week or longer also include transfer from the airport, welcome cocktails on arrival and detailed island orientation. ReefView also offer offer private boat, snorkel and fishing charters from their own in-house speedboat together with a qualified captain to offer you a different perspective of this beautiful island of 365 beaches. Situated on Antigua's South Coast with a local bus route at the top of the lane, ReefView is conveniently nestled close to most of Antigua's BEST beaches, with shopping, bars and restaurants nearby but just far enough from major resort areas to make you feel you are stepping off the grid and experiencing the REAL Antigua.
