Description :	Quality holiday appartments, situated at an absolutely quiet location at the edge of the forest, overlooking the Karawanken mountains in the south. The house is situated on the flank of a lower mountain, in the outskirts of the beautiful village of Portschach am Worthersee. A friendly appartment house, situated quietly, about 20 min. walk from the centre. Run by a Dutch family, that wants you to have a wonderful holiday. We have 5 quality appartments, with shower/toilet, kitchen, living room, the 4 and 6 persons appartments have aseparate bedroom, and 3 are with balcony. In our house you find a sauna-area with fitness and solarium. In the garden there are several terraces, a barbecue area and in summer there is a small built-up pool. Portschach is a Nordic Walking area, and The owners of Haus am Waldrand are qualified Nordic Walking trainers. For those who enjoy walking, there are many tours around the Worthersee. Portschach also is a nice place for everyone who likes other sports, biking, tennis, sailing and swimming. In the winter the alpine skiing areas are within reasonable distance, from about 20 minutes driving. Around the Worthersee are many attractions and places to visit. We offer all our guests the Worthersee/Karnten Card. With this card you can visit over a hundred places for free or at reduced prices. The borders of Italy and Slovenia areless than 25 km away, so a vist there is very well possible. We are open around the year.
