Kutelo complex has a good access to bars, mehanas and ski facilities which is very important if you are to have a self-catering holiday. SKI FACILITIES IN BANSKO: Total Amount of ski pists are 65 Km. Beginners - 35%; Intermediate - 40%; Advanced - 25% Snow cannons - 45 snow cannons covering over 50% of ski runs Bansko offers its guests a unique 16-kilometer uninterrupted ski run, starting from Todorka Peak (2600 m) at the highest point of the ski center, all the way to base station of the Gondola lift at the outskirts of town. The last 7 km of the slope are lighted, and the entire facility is equipped with artificial snow machines to ensure a great skiing experience even in warmer conditions. The lifts and pistes operator in Bansko takes care of your maximum comfort with our 8-man Gondola cable car by Doppelmayer, five 4-seat lifts of the latest Doppelmayer models, one 3-seat lift by Poma, 6 drags and 10 baby drags. The easy access to all lifts is secured by chip-cards from SkiData. The church "Holy Trinity" with its clock towel are among the most notable town's symbols and architectural monuments from the Bulgarian National Revival period. One perfect moment to experience Bansko is to be there on Boxing day (26-th December) and to indulge in the triumphal chimes after the anniversary mass. Kukeri festivals - the colorful festival "New Year's Day in Bansko and Razlog" is celebrated with the rituals performed by the kukeri (traditional dancers dressed in costumes of feather and fur with copper sheep bells on the belt who scare the evel spirits away through their dances), horo (a traditional circle dance with people dancing hand in hand). Each two neighborhoods in Bansko has its own kukeri group. The town of Razlog participate in the festival with its 5 kukeri groups. Bansko Jazz Festival - The International Jazz Festival in Bansko is one of the biggest and most prestigious musical events in Bulgaria. It is being traditionally held every year from 8 of August to 13 of August. During a period of six nights the famous resort becomes the capital of jazz. Thousands of people get together at the central town square where an open-air festival stage is built.
