| Description : | Korcula Island - Waterfront villa with apartments & rooms 5m from the sea & less than a 10 min walk to Korcula Old Town. Can be rented separately or altogether: 1x1 bed apt(2+1p), 1x2 bed apt(4+1p), 2x twin/double rooms(2p ea) Sleeps up to 12p (3 db rooms, 2 twin rooms, 2 fold out sofas, 5 WC in total) PROPERTY DESCRIPTION: The newly renovated, air conditioned 1 BEDROOM APARTMENT sleeps up to 3 people. It is self contained with its own private entrance and balcony with 180 degree water views. The open air balcony has a sun cover that can be opened and closed, a wooden table, chairs and lounge chairs. Here you can sunbathe, watch your children swim in front of the house, or enjoy dinner under the stars. The apartment has a bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe, 2 bedside tables, shelves and an opening window. The bathroom has a sink, toilet, spacious shower, heater and hairdryer. There is access to a washing machine, iron and ironing board. The self catering apartment has a fully equipped kitchen/living room, with a sink, fridge with freezer, oven with cook top, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is a TV/satellite, dining table and chairs, a fold out sofa bed and large double doors that open out onto the balcony. The newly renovated, air conditioned 2 BEDROOM 2 BATHROOM APARTMENT sleeps up to 5 people. (The details are the same as above, but there is an extra double bedroom with bathroom.) For guests who will be staying a shorter period of time, we have 2 TWIN/DOUBLE ROOMS which are newly renovated and self catering. Each room is self contained with its own private entrance and private bathroom. Each room sleeps 2 people with 2 single beds that can be joined together. The rooms also have an opening window, wardrobe, 2 bedside tables and coffee making facilities. The bathrooms have a cupboard, sink, toilet, spacious shower and heater. AMENITIES: Apartments: Air conditioning/heating, TV/satellite, fridge with freezer, oven with cook top, microwave, kettle, toaster, bathroom with shower, bathroom heater, hairdryer. Rooms: kettle, bathroom with shower, bathroom heater. All guests have access to a washing machine, iron and ironing board. The private jetty/dock and barbeque area are at everyones disposal. SERVICES: We offer free arrival pick-up and departure drop off from Korcula Town. If traveling by car we can provide directions and parking. Mooring for boats costs extra. The owners (1 Australian born) speak English, Croatian, French, German and Italian. They pride themselves on providing their guests with all the extra information, recommendations and services they could possibly need, to ensure that their stay is a very memorable and enjoyable experience. EXTRAS: Each room has maps, timetables, guides, ideas for what to see and do, and restaurant recommendations. Every room has sheets and towels. Every kitchen has tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, paper towel, tea towels, matches, sponges and cleaning products. Every bathroom has towels, soap and toilet paper. DESTINATION: The villa is located on the island of Korcula, in the town of the same name. The island is part of the southern Dalmatian archipelago, and is found approximately half way between the cities of Dubrovnik and Split. Korcula has a mild Mediterranean climate and enjoys approximately 3000 hours of sunshine per year. The island is unspoiled with an abundance of secluded places to swim in its crystal clear sea, and it is the most densely forested of Croatia’s islands. Korcula is also a famous wine and olive oil making district. Korcula Old Town is a miniature Dubrovnik, only cheaper and with a lot less tourists. It is renowned for its history and architecture, and for being the birth place of Marco Polo. LOCATION DESCRIPTION: Korcula Waterfront Accommodation is in an exclusive and quiet neighborhood, less than a 10 minute stroll from Korcula Old Town and the town center. (The birth place of Marco Polo.) Located in the nearest bay, it is quite close so that everything is easily accessible, but just far enough so you can enjoy peace and privacy. The waterfront villa boasts balconies with 180 degree sea views, and views of the surrounding pine and cypress forests and Mount Ilija on the mainland. Being situated only 5 meters from the sea, you can swim and sunbathe from the private jetty or there are several beaches in the area. The nearest sand beach is about 300m away, and there are great places for bush walking.
