	Accommodation Description
Description :	WE HAVE A HEATED POOL Our house is situated entirely on the ground floor and has only 1 step to the master bedroom. It is situated in an old barn which has been fully renovated. It consists of a living - dining room with open plan kitchen. All furniture is comfortable and sufficient for 4 people. In the bathroom you find a large walk in shower, wash-basin and toilet. The master bedroom is beautifully furnished and has a a kingsize bed (180 x 200). The second bedroom has a double bed (140 x 200). In the kitchen you will find a complete inventory, a senseo coffeemachine, an electric kettle, a microwave and a fridge. A washing machine and dryer are not in the house, but available at a small charge on the camping. A two time use of washer/dryer per week is included in the price. In front of Maison Passerose you will enjoy a large garden and terrace and a through way to the camping so you can use the pool. Of course this through way is for your use only. Oposite Maison Passerose is the original farm which is in use as a holiday house as well. Next to Maison Passerose you can find our farm animals wandering in their meadow: chickens, roosters, ducks, and geese. You have a lovely view over a small valley. Thanks to thick walls your house stays cool in the warm summer months, in winter it can be heated. It can be rented all year round. The entire house is tastefully furnished. Smoking is not allowed inside. A tv (no channels) + dvd-player is available. Dvd's can be borrowed from us. All campsite facilities are also available to guests in the house. Maison Passerose can only be rented per week, from Saturday to Saturday, except outside July and August. Prices on request for less nights. Excluding security deposit of € 200,00. The deposit has to be paid at the same time as the final payment of the rental fee. This will be transferred back to you after leaving the accommodation, if the accommodation is left clean and without damage. Bank fees for non euro residents are for the client. There is a small farm campsite behind our house. We do not accept many children to ensure our guests do get to enjoy quiet. Get rid of all the stress, enjoy beautiful scenery, let us treat you with a great meal and have a wonderful time at L'Etournerie. Mareuil sur Lay is the heart of a small but excellent wine area. It is 3 kms away from Maison Passerose. Luçon is 12 km south and has a nice centre and a beautiful cathedral that was built in the 12th - 14th century, attached to the Benedictine convent, that was built in the 7th century. Cardinal Richelieu (known from "The three Musketeers") was bishop here from 1606 to 1623. Le Jardin Dumaine is also definitely worth a visit. The Vendée is perfect for making many diverse trips and for many activities. The beaches are close by, but also the Venise Vert, an area consisting of green polders with numerous canals. Here you can take boattrips, but it is also a lovely place for walking or cycling. La Roche-sur-Yon This town was founded in 1804 by Napoleon. It is also the capitol of the Vendée. It has several (large) supermarkets, a hospital and of course other shops. Other places of interest are: La Rochelle, Les Sables d'Olonne, castles, Ile de Ré, other islands, walking, cycling, beaches, Puy du Fou, Nantes, etc. etc.

Directions to the Accommodation

Direction :

By car: We are situated near the Autoroute A83. Driving southwards, take exit 6, direction Bournezeau. In the village take a left to Mareuil-sur-Lay (D48). After 100 meters turn right towards Thorigny. In the village of Thorigny, go left towards Château Guibert (D60). Pass through Château Guibert. You will see the lake on your right. Pass through the hamlet of Bellenoue. On your right you will see a picknick and play area, immediately after the first house on the right (which is situated behind high trees immediately after the pick nick area), turn right. At the T-junction turn right again, after 100 meters turn left at the sign Camping à la ferme L'Etournerie. Follow the little road, we are situated at the very end of that road.
