Description : | A warm and friendly Irish Welcome awaits you at our Irish self catering holiday cottage.The Cottage is situated in the scenic Donegal South West .Peaceful this farm building, converted to self catering with the highest standards of modernity and comfort, has one en-suite bedroom/shower. The cottage is an ideal retreat for honeymooners, retired or other couples or small families who wish to get away from it all. The patio has breathtaking views of the 'Hills of Donegal'. The family bedroom has 2 new double beds so we can sleep 4 comfortably in the one bedroom. Facilities include : Free Wifi access, DVD player, washer and dryer, BBQ, patio set, Garden furnitureoil fired central heating, colour TV and safe parking. Free oil heating and electricity is included. Bed linen & towels. The cottage stands on the route of the Blue Stack Way and is a popular stopping-off place for walkers and ramblers. It is only a short distance from the Owenea river with its well stocked supplies of fish. For golfers there is the eighteen hole course at Narin, about 10 kilometres from Glenties. Shops, bank, restaurants, and pubs with traditional music are only five minutes drive away in the town of Glenties. is an ideal location for touring to Slieve League (Europe's highest sea cliffs) and Glenveagh National Park and Castle. Also visit the Giants Causeway 3 hour drive from holiday Cottage. Glenties is situated a few kilometres from the sea. An abundance of amenities for both active and passive pursuits, makes the town a mecca for tourists to the North West of Ireland. Here, the visitor can also enjoy the beautiful scenery of the surrounding countryside, that stretches from the glens around the town, beyond to the Blue Stack Mountains to the south and Gweebarra Bay and the Atlantic Ocean to the west.
