Description :	Torre del Guado Country House is an impressive stone manor house located in Tuscany and placed at the same distance (3 kms) from the medieval towns of Anghiari and Sansepolcro, birthplace of the great painter Piero della Francesca, amidst the tranquillity of the Tuscan countryside, but, at the same time, close to cities of Arezzo - Cortona - Perugia, within easy driving distance from the main art cities of Umbria, Tuscany and central Italy: like: Florence, Siena, Rome… The agriturismo Torre del Guado, that affords the wonderful views on the same enchanting Tuscan scenery, what inspired great painters as Piero della Francesca, Raffaello, Leonardo, Signorelli, … dates back to the 13th century and, recently, has been carefully restored and tastefully appointed, being transformed into a warm and charming country holiday Villa, a refined tuscan farmhouse where you can find, together with many of original tuscan preserved features, all the modern conveniences, including Wireless Internet connection. The villa’s accommodation consists of 2 suggestive reception rooms and 5 refined self-catering vacation-accommodations, of different sizes and typology, with excellent facilities. The whole holiday house inside very large secure beautifully maintained equipped gardens (20.000 mq) with the panoramic 15X7 swimming pool. The farmhouse Torre del Guado, with its spacious apartments, with private kitchen, washing machine, and living room with sofa beds, is ideal for families ( if many familiar groups, the whole property can be rented), as well as for couples ( like honeymoon) or business traveller looking for one double bed apartment. As well as relaxing and a base for touring, our holiday farmhouse gives you the possibility to experience unforgettable moments as only a place in Tuscany can and, with its reception rooms plus the park inside the spectacular tuscan landscape, is a superb birthdays, cerimonies and weddings location in tuscany (with optional catering service on request) Museums, cultural sites, thermal baths, golf, tennis courts, horse-riding, shops, typical tuscan restaurants available at short driving distance. DETAILS about the apart. Iris: 90 square metres, 2 very large rooms – this 1 level splendid apartment enjoys of great privacy becouse it is located on the first floor in the most historical wing of the Villa, with its own private entrance. It is a popular choice for couples on their honeymoon but it is perfect also for small family groups. Far from the typology of the other ones, this apartment is a wonderful suite with all comforts of a furnished apartment. You find a very spacious living/dining room with 1 queen Sofa-bed plus 1 single sofa/bed, fully equipped kitchen and dining table for 6. On the same floor one queen sized bedroom and an appointed bathroom with shower. Sleeps 2/5. 2 are the guests accommodated in beds; 3 guests can be accommodate on the sofa-beds (extra charge).
Amenities :	Outside: In the centre of large and beautifully maintained gardens (20.000 mq), where you may stroll through vast green areas and enjoy a spectacular view on the tuscan landscape, there is the panoramic and equipped 15X7 swimming pool (purified through filters with sea salt widhout the bother of the chlorine) with outside shower and solarium equipped with sun beds and umbrellas, for only guests’ use and relax. The gardens provide, also, plenty of garden furniture: gazebos, sun-beds, tables, chairs, sunshade, a playing and barbecue area. _5 self-catering apartments (each one for 2/6 sleeps), entirely independent and with entry from the garden, _Wireless connection, on demand unlimited access in every apartment, _Each unit is furnished for outdoor dining area, its washing machine, linens, towels, swimming pool towels and tables clothes, fans, Window Screens, independent heating with counter. _By request: cots ( extra € 7 per/day) and highchairs for babies, iron & board and hair-dryer available, _Available, on demand, daily cleaning (extra charge: € 9 per/hour), _ Private parking plus a covered parking space for each unit, Free use of Mountain-bikes, Ping-pong, Mini volley e Table football, _Large ancient rooms for Cerimonies, Weddings, meetings and cultural events, Upon request, available private cooking for groups through service catering. How to reach us Airports: Torre del Guado can be reached by airplane, by train, by car. The airports in Rome, Florence, Perugia, Bologna, Arezzo, Forlì are easy driving distance . Fly direct to Perugia (our nearest airport : 45 minutes drive) via Ryanair, or to Bologna-Forli ( about 100 kms), or to Florence Peretola ( 85 kms) , or to Ancona (2 hours' drive), or to Bologna, Pisa or Rome, Pisa Galileo Galilei 80 km. By Car: from Milan-Bologna: A14 Highway to Cesena: exit Cesena nord, Follow E45 Superhighway to Rome-Perugia- exit Sansepolcro sud. from Rome-Orte: E45 Superhighway Perugia-Cesena: exit Sansepolcro sud. from Florence: A1 Highway - exit Arezzo with direction SANSEPOLCRO. From the exit at Sansepolcro sud, follow the road to AREZZO; after approx. 2kms turn left, signposted GRICIGNANO.
