Description :	Dating back to the 13th century, Torre del Guado Country House is an impressive stone manor house recently magistrally restored by the owners and converted into a warm and well appointed country holiday Villa, a refined tuscan farmhouse where you can find, together with many original Tuscan features preserved, all the modern conveniences, including Wireless Internet connection. The tuscan villa is perched in the picturesque landscape northeast of Arezzo and looks out at the magnificent medieval town of Anghiari and Sansepolcro, birthplace of the great painter Piero della Francesca, and the same enchanting Tuscan scenery, what inspired great painters as Raffaello, Leonardo, Signorelli.. Although is located amidst the tranquillity of the Tuscan countryside, at the same time the holiday home Torre del Guado is close to cities as Arezzo - Cortona - Perugia and within easy driving distance from the main art cities of Tuscany and central Italy like: Florence, Siena, Rome, Urbino… The villa’s accommodations consist of 2 suggestive reception rooms and 5 refined self-catering vacation-accommodations ( from 2+ to 4+ guests), of different sizes and typology, with excellent facilities. The whole holiday house inside a very large beautifully maintained equipped gardens (20.000 mq) with the panoramic 15X7 swimming pool. Possibility to rent whole property or sigle units in combination following the number of guests. Location: Torre del Guado is placed at the same distance (3 kms) from the medieval towns of Anghiari and Sansepolcro situated in Upper Tiber Valley, and 37 kms from Arezzo, not far from Cortona and Siena, on the edge of the Chianti wine region and of Umbria. The villa’s convenient location will allow you to easily reach the main art cities including Assisi and Urbino, Perugia and Pisa, Trasimeno Lake, Florence, Rome, ..). They are all a day-trip away and easily accessible through the near E45 speedway, at only 4 kms from the villa, and A1 highway 32 kms far. The area: This area has a great culinary tradition: everywhere you can enjoy the wonderful dishes of Tuscan cuisine, accompanied by the fine wines. There are a number of music festivals in the region, including Umbria Jazz in Perugia and Tuscan Sun Festival of Cortona in July. The sport and nature lovers may take excursions on foot, on horseback or on mountain bike and wander through woods and vineyards, ruins of old churches, castles and lovely old farm buildings. Golf Club, tennis-courts and horse-riding are at short driving distance. Lakes Trasimeno and Montedoglio provide water-sports, trips to islands & a small beach. The house is 35 minutes from main A1 motorway and 10 minutes from the convenient E45 dual carriageway. By Car: from Milan-Bologna: A14 Highway to Cesena: exit Cesena nord, Follow E45 Superhighway to Rome-Perugia- exit Sansepolcro sud. from Rome-Orte: E45 Superhighway Perugia-Cesena: exit Sansepolcro sud. from Florence: A1 Highway - exit Arezzo with direction SANSEPOLCRO. From the exit at Sansepolcro sud, follow the road to AREZZO; after approx. 2kms turn left, signposted GRICIGNANO.
