DONA SORAYA LODGE is situated on the South Beach of Vilanculos, overlooking the spectacular Indian Ocean and out to the Bazaruto Archipelago chain of islands on the horizon. This wonderful peaceful Lodge is hosted by Dona Soraya who offers international and seafood cuisine, (Paella as the favorite dish) in her ample restaurant. The beach, 160m x 100m, with 90 coconut trees, is only a short walk down the wooden stairway to the clean sands and tranquil waters of the bay, safe swimming for children and the young at heart that enjoy water sports.
The spacious accommodation offers a Double Bed Suites or 2 Single Beds Suites 50m 2 each, with mosquito netting and stand alone fans as well as sea-view veranda, a walk-in dressing room with shower and toilet. All rooms have a hot water kettle with tea, coffee, sugar and milk and an extensive breakfast is included and served in the restaurant each morning.
Rates; Double Suites 50m2, views over the Bazaruto Archipelago@ R500 per person sharing. R750 for Single occupation. A Full English breakfast is included. Chilren 8 to 12 years pay 50% of adult fee.
We also have a Traditional Reed House 36m2; garden views, sleep 4 adults, children, with ensuite shower and toilet, extra shower/toilet, fully fitted kitchen, eating/relaxing thatched lapa t attached @ R500 per day.
The 2 Park Home Suites each 18m2, garden views, sleep 4 in each suite, with ensuite shower and toilet extra shower/toilet, eating relaxing thatched lapa attached@ R500 per suite. Breakfast is not included.
The 2 Family Suites each 78m2, with shower/toilet ensuite and fully fitted kitchen (Self Catering) sleeps 6 to 8 in each suite, with spectacular views over the Bazaruto Archipelago, @ 1500 per suite per night. Breakfast is not included
If you arrive by air, Dona Soraya will collect you from the airport. she will also take you back at the end of your visit.
