Description :	Casa da Horta, literally ‘Orchard House’, this 150 year old farmhouse has been thoughtfuly converted to provide a picturesque cluster of charming apartments set amongst the tranquility of fragrent orange groves in Vale Carro, close to the fishing village of Olhos D’Agua, the golf course of Sheraton Hotel, Acoteias and the magnificent Falesia beach. This secluded rural location, surrounded by rolling fields, make it the perfect place for a relaxed away-from-it-all break, yet is still within easy reach of a great variety of local amenities including shops, beaches, golf courses, restaurantes, nightlife and much more. Or you can simply take it easy, lie back and enjoy your holiday haven, relaxing around our lovely pool or getting together with family and friends. Casa da Horta has a large swimming pool, lawned gardens, barbecue area and sun terraces. It is conveniently situated in Central Algarve between Albufeira and Vilamoura. Outside It is a picturesque cluster of cosy apartments surrounded by rolling fields and country houses, with an inviting swimming pool, separated toddler's splash pool, and a sun terrace bordered by neat green lawns. Communal BBQ areas and furnished terrace for each apartment. Coast/Beach Close to Praia da Falesia Beach - 1,2 km Golf Challenging 9 hole course at 10 minutes walk (Sheraton Pine Cliffs) Some of the best 18 hole courses in Portugal are within a 30 minute drive. Travel Faro Airport is at 25 Km, about 30 minutes drive. Car hire is not essential but recommended for a couple days. If required, airport transfers can be arranged at the time of booking. Distances Casa da Horta lies on the road between Vale Carro and Olhos d'Agua, 0.6km from the village of Acoteias, 1,5 km east of Olhos d'Agua and 1,2 km from the fabulous long, sandy beach at Falesia. Locally, there are two restaurants 700 metres from the apartments in different directions, one of them in Acoteias, where you will also find two supermarkets, several other restaurants and bars and a delightful, coast-hugging, nine hole golf course at the Sheraton Golf and Country Club. Further details There are a variety of good restaurants within walking distance. Ambrosia & Nectar restaurant it is a place to visit at Olhos de Agua, it comes highly recommended, typical Portuguese but Italian food also avaible For family outings, there are 2 water parks within an easy drive - 'Aqualand' and 'Slide and Splash', and 'Zoomarine', with a full programme of marine-life shows, offers a fun day out. The newly opened 'Algarve Shopping' not only offers a fine selection of shops but also houses a multi-screen cinema, bowling alley and a food court.
