	Accommodation Description
Description :	This spacious single storey villa has air-conditioning in all bedrooms, lounge and even kitchen. There is a security alarm system, floor safe and all the windows have triple glazing with internal Venetian blinds and external mosquito blinds. Access to the villa is through electric security gates with key pad codes. The villa accommodation comprises 2 double bedrooms both with en-suite shower rooms, 1 twin bedroom with en-suite shower room and 1 twin bedroom and a seperate bathroom. The lounge/dining room has Satellite TV, DVD, video and Hi-Fi system. The spacious fully fitted kitchen with breakfast table is equipped with all modern kitchen appliances. The heated pool with children's section is set in an extensive patio area, surrounded by walled gardens for privacy. Also in this area is a wc/laundry room with washing machine for clients personal use. Outside the kitchen is a superb covered BBQ area with table and chairs. Accommodation Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with double divan bed, fitted wardrobes, en-suite. Bedroom 2 with twin divan beds, fitted wardrobes, en-suite. Bedroom 3 with double divan bed, fitted wardrobes, en-suite. Bedroom 4 with twin divan beds, fitted wardrobes. Bathrooms: En-suite to bedroom 1 with walk-in shower, WC, sink unit. En-suite to bedroom 2 with walk-in shower, WC, sink unit. En-suite to bedroom 3 with walk-in shower, WC, sink unit. Seperate bathroom with bath, WC, sink unit. Kitchen: Large and beautifully equipped with all modern conveniences, including a breakfast table for 8 people, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, built in oven with hob unit and several other appliances. The outside kitchen door opens onto the BBQ area. Utility Room: The utility room has a washing machine, iron and ironing board, all for clients use. Attatched to the laundry room is a seperate wc, which is ideal for people relaxing by the pool/BBQ. Living Rooms: The lounge area has ample sofas and armchairs, Satellite TV (ITV 1, 2, 3 BBC 1, 2, 3, Sky News), DVD, video and Hi-fi system. There is also a feature fireplace and a/c unit. There is a dining table with 8 seats at the far end of the lounge. Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: Lucinda the house manager is at the villa every day, except Sundays and public holidays and clients personal laundry can be done by arrangement with Lucinda. All bathroom towels and linen are provided, but clients must bring their own beach towels. Notes on accommodation The pool heating and air-conditioning are included in the rental cost of Villa Cathcal. Cots and high chairs can also be provided and are free of charge if booked in advance. Amenities/Facilities provided hob/stove, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, iron/ironing board, satellite tv, central heating, air conditioning, cot, high chair, barbecue, private pool (for sole use of guests), pool heating Accessibility The villa is single storey, so there are no steps within the house and just a small raised step into the house from the patio, pool and BBQ areas, which is easily negotiated by wheelchair users. Although the villa has no special disabled facilities, it has proved popular with wheelchair clients and families with young children, due to the space, quality of fittings and the fact that everything is on one floor. We do have some seated bath and toilet rails kindly left by regular clients. Outside The villa is surrounded by walled gardens and is accessed by electric gates with coded key pads. The heated pool with seperate children's section is approx 10 x 5m and there are ample sun loungers and patio furniture on the surrounding patio. There is a large built in BBQ with outside table and chairs just outside the kitchen. Coast/Beach The magnificent Gale/Salgados beach is within 2km of the house and this is a 4km beach stretching in one direction all the way to the town of Armacao de Pera. Along this stretch of coast are some excellent beach bars and restaurants. Golf The nearby Salgados golf course is a 2 minute drive and it has a driving range and excellent clubhouse affording views over the course and dunes. The popular courses at Vilamoura and Carvoeiro are 15-20 minutes drive. Travel Faro Airport is approx 40 minutes drive away. Car hire is strongly recommended, as even though taxi transfers can be organised to and from the airport, getting to the local supermarkets would be extremely difficult without a car. Walking to local restaurants and bars in the evening could not be easier from the house, but should you wish to drive there are some excellent restaurants within the valley area. Distances Albufeira is approx 5km away, about a 5 minute drive and is very popular with holidaymakers, especially during summer when there are street entertainers and live music in many bars. Near to Albufeira is the Marina, which although being somewhat colourfully decorated, offers more bars, restaurants and shops alongside the boats. The town of Guia, famous for chicken piri-piri is 5km away and has Algarve shopping centre close by. There are numerous water parks within easy reach including Zoomarine. Further details The supermarkets around Vale de Parra offer a wide range of foods, household goods and baby goods. Many of these supermarkets also have cash machine facilities. There are banks in Guia, Albufeira and in the new Marina, the same applies for pharmacy outlets. Algarve shopping approx 5km away has a wide range of shops, including a Hypermarket, where you will find most things you will ever need!!
