Coast/Beach Altura beach is the nearest being only 2km away, it has beautiful white sand and blue water, ideal for children as the beach is very wide so the children can play safely away from the water. Monte Gordo beach is also only a short distance from the house and has a similar width and quality. Golf There are several, year round, 18-hole golf courses within a 15-minute drive: Castro Marim, Quinta da Ria, Benamor, Quinta de Cima, the new Jack Nicklaus signature Monte Rei course and Quinta do Vale (designed by Seve Ballesteros). Across the border, in Spain, are several other outstanding golf courses within a 20-minute drive. Travel Faro airport in about 55km away from the house and it is a very easy drive. We can book car hire and transfers if you prefer to relax 100% on your holiday fro very good prices. Distances Nearest Airport: Faro at 55 kilometres.
