	Accommodation Description
Description :	A fantastic property located in Cabanas with luxurious green areas offering a variety of trees and plants to give you a very peaceful and relaxing feel to the whole village. There is a large swimming pool, children's playground and a recreational area with southerly views of the coast. The square also offers various amenities including a bar, snack bar and mini-market – perfect for that forgotten item! Cabanas town is only a few minutes walk from the apartment and offers many bars, restaurants and shops to peruse at your leisure. Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has two single beds and is en-suite with balcony. bedroom 2 has two single beds and is en-suite. Bathrooms: Two en-suite bathrooms one with bath and on with walk-in shower. Also a separate WC and basin. Kitchen: Very nicely fitted kitchen, high quality including oven, hob, extractor fan, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine with dryer. You also have the small items such as kettle, toaster, blender and much more! Living Rooms: A good size living room with air-conditioning, a sofa suite, coffee table, TV, dining area to seat four people. A pleasant balcony area with views over the gardens and outside furniture to seat four. Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: All the linen and towels are supplied and is of a good quality. If you stay for two weeks the linen and towels will be changed for you. Accessibility There is a lift so it is suitable for wheelchair users and people who find stairs difficult. Outside Stunning gardens, very well maintained and lovely to walk around. Plenty of peace and quiet. Children's play area and pool. Large central swimming pool, bar and small shop. Coast/Beach The nearest beach to our apar is Ilha-de-Cabanas which is stunning and only a couple of minute walk. A few minutes boat trip will take visitors from the jetty of Cabanas located on the front across to this attractive sandy bar. To some this is the jewel in the crown of the eastern side of Faro. Golf Benamor golf club is only a few minutes walk and offers a good course and a very nice club house where you are welcome to go to even if you do not play golf, it is lovely location and well looked after. You also have Quinta do Cima and Quinta da Ria a few minutes drive from the apartment as well. There are many other local courses and others further a field but if you would like to play a few rounds or just one let us know as we can get good prices for you! Skiing Not in the Algarve only if you go to the very North of Portugal! Special interest holidays Bird watching in the East Algarve is very good indeed offering many surprises including Pink Flamingos. The Ria Formosa is one of Portugals most important protected wetlands, being a designated Ramsar site and a zone of special protection, that includes the Nature Park of the Ria Formosa, which covers as area of 14,000 hectares. The park is on a major fly-way for the migrants from Africa, being particularly rich in wader species and passerines. It is also a great place to see rare and localized species, like Purple Swamp-hen and Little Bittern. Protected by a complex web of sand barriers and dunes, the Ria extends along the Algarve coast for more than 60 KM and includes habitats such as dunes, open water, inter-tidal mudflats, salt marshes, salt pans, reed beds, lagoons and pine woods. We can offer you some excellent tours should you choose to have a guide. Travel You do not need to hire a car when staying at our apartment as you can walk to the town and you have the Conceicao train station only a few minutes walk but if you would like to hire a car to explore further by yourselves then we are happy to get a quote for you, but you can get transfers and chauffer’s if you feel extravagant! Faro International airport is approx 25 minutes drive Tavira town centre is 10 minutes drive, Zoo Marine is 40 minutes. Further details Cash points (multibanco) will accept most foreign cards and they will also be in English for you. You can also draw cash off your credit cards at some of the banks but it does take time! Supermarkets are very good here and offer a variety of items to tempt you you will also find some items that you have at home but if you would like to let me know if you would like something specific for your visit I can purchase it for you and have it at the villa waiting. There are plenty of things to do here and many places of interest, if there is anything that you would love to do while you are here but can not find any details of it let me know as sometimes it is easier when you are in the Algarve already. Cabanas de Tavira is a couple of minutes walk. Tavira town is approx 10 minutes drive. Faro airport is approx 25 minutes drive. Faro shopping centre and town is approx 35 minutes drive. Going East - Manta Rota and Altura are about ten minutes drive and have direct access to the beaches which stretch for 20km going past Monte Gordo and Vila Real and then you have the Spanish border of Ayamonte only separated from Portugal by the river Guadiana and has an open border so you can take the ferry!
