	Accommodation Description
Description :	Villa Echium is found in the posh villa area, Garajau, with beautiful houses in their well kept gardens. It is five minutes from the bustling city Funchal, but still far enough away to enjoy a quiet, relaxing and almost sleepy atmosphere. There are two apartments. The upper with its classical decoration and a terrace with a sea and garden view, is sleeping 4. The bottom apartment is more modern decorated with direct entrance to the garden and its pond. This one sleeps 2 + 1. Both have well equipped kitchens. Bakery, supermarkets and restaurants are just 2 minutes away by foot. There is diving, tennis, walking, jogging and sailing sports available in the immediate area. It takes 5 minutes to the nearest golf course. What about just grilling, relaxing end enjoying the sun beds in the garden?
Amenities :	The bottom apartment has one bed room, with the space for an extra bed in the changing room. It has a modern kitchen and a modern decorated lounge. From here you have direct entrance to the garden with its pond. There are facilities for grilling in the garden or at the upper terrace. The upper apartment is more classical decorated. It has a well equipped kitchen, dining room, a lounge and two bed rooms. From the terrace you have view over the garden and the sea. The house has a private parking

Direction :

By Taxi: The best thing is to catch the taxi straight at the airport. I really do not think you should have any problems. The taxi drivers all know the island very well - and give them the address and they should know where to go. A good reminder for the Taxi Driver is to tell them that the Vila Echium is about 20 metres in front of the "Dom Pedro Garajau" hotel complex. Through the only street tunnel made by the complex. On the corner of Rua Tristao Vaz Teixeira and Rua da Autonomia you will clearly see the villa. Its number is 150. In front of the Dom Pedro Garajau Hotel is the shopping centre with the bakery and Restaurant Franco's. By Rent-A-Car: As you leave the airport follow the street signs pointing the way to Funchal. There is a fast highway running all the way from the airport to Funchal. You need to carry on in a westerly southerly direction for about 10 minutes until you see a street sign pointing to "Garajau", exit number 15, - this is more in the vicinity of the Modelo Supermarket area and the Cancela Industrial centre. Take the off ramp into Garajau and keep to the left. Follow the hair curve bend into an easterly direction and continue until you arrive at the first shopping complex that you will see on your left hand side. The corner is Restaurant Franco's and the shop next to it is the bakery. In front of the shopping complex is the Hotel Dom Pedro Garajau. The first street on the right is a tunnel under the Hotel Dom Pedro Garajau. Go through the tunnel. The Vila Echium will be immediately ahead and in front of you. The address is Rua Tristão Vaz Teixeira, 150.
