Description :	Casa do Prado is a two storey villa with all bedrooms downstairs, each bedroom has patio doors leading to well tended gardens. All bedrooms are fully air conditioned & heated with the addition of variable speed ceiling fans. The well equipped kitchen has oven, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher & microwave. French doors lead from the kitchen onto a breakfast sun balcony. The utility room has a 2nd sink and automatic washer and safe. The lounge/diner has feature marble fireplace with log burning stove. Variable speed ceiling fans. Two sets of patio doors, one set lead to sun patio and pool, the other set lead to a sun balcony. There are three large comfortable sofas, 42" Flat screen TV, Video, DVD player with a selection of films, Stereo Radio/CD player & Sky TV. The pool area is equipped with sunbeds, dining table, built in barbeque area. There is also a fresh water shower The villa is located within easy walking distance of Guia village where there are highly recommended restaurants and bars. There are also numerous local shops offering a variety of locally produced goods. There is also a well stocked supermarket. Sir Cliff Richard's Villa and Vinyards (Vida Nova) are a two minutes walk from the villa. There are regular guided tours around the Vida Nova vineyards and wine cellars where you can sample Sir Cliff's wine. The villa is approximately 1/4 mile from the main N125 motorway, which services the whole of the Algarve. The villa is surrounded by beautiful open countryside and is ideally situated for a peaceful holiday but is still within easy reach of beaches, entertainment and sport. The Algarve shopping centre is less than 1 mile away. The centre has Multi Screen Cinema (showing latest International Films), Bowling Alley, 32 restaurants and bars and numerous fashion, electrical, perfume, sport, etc shops. The Algarve's most popular resort of Albufeira is 5 miles away. Local golf courses are also approximately 3 miles from the villa. Discount sheet available for local attractions/car hire/excursions. Competitive mini bus and car hire is available on request.
Amenities :	Out & About The Algarve remains one of the British family favourites, with consistently good beach resorts from the Spanish border to Cape St Vincent. Whilst summer temperatures can reach 30C plus, the Atlantic breezes on the western and southern coast make Portugal's climate comfortable, especially for children Visitors choose to combine relaxing days in the sun with beach activities such as shark fishing, scuba diving and banana boating, amongst others. Day trips away from the beaches include visits to renowned golf courses, horse-riding schools, water parks, museums and Moorish castles. Restaurants The Algarve offers an array of international and local cuisine. The famous Chicken Piri-Piri is sold in many restaurants across the Algarve, however, the town of Guia is said to have the best Piri-Piri houses on the Algarve - this spicy dish is enjoyed by locals and tourist alike. Eating out is so affordable on the Algarve, lunches tend to be long and leisurely. Restaurants on this southern coast are extremely child friendly, allowing you to relax and enjoy the cuisine. The Algarve is a great place to enjoy seafood and fish. Grilled sardines are a great speciality along with swordfish, bream, squid, clams and many more. From the simple chargrilled sardines to gourmet lobster, the Algarve has a wide variety of good food to offer and promises to be outstanding in quality. Wines The very cheap wine prices are a bonus. There are many different Portuguese wines to choose from. Some of the more notable ones being 'Dao, Vinho Verde, Reguengos and of course Port'. Sir Cliff Richard's 'Vida Nova' wine can be purchased from the singer's winery in Guia (to the rear of the 'Algarve Shopping' - Look for 'Quinta do Miradouro' and press the bell marked 'shop'). This opened early in 2005 and the shop is equipped for wine tasting tours of the vineyard and winery and can be pre-booked. Take advantage of the low cost wines, liqueurs, spirits and cigarettes. There is no limit on what can be taken home for personal consumption. Slide and Splash The Slide and Splash park at Estombar is between Lagoa and Portimao and offers lots of thrilling rides, soft slides and children's water fun playground with restaurants.
