The cottage is ideally situated on the corner of the main road coming into the village & the Villiersdorp / Franschhoek turnoff – so whether you are working in or on the outskirts of Grabouw Village, you have a convenient place to put your feet up for the evening & relax. The cottage boasts a fireplace in the comfortable living room for those cold winter nights, as well as in the main loft bedroom. The cottage, being of age, keeps the heat out in summer and the warmth in during winter. Together with the wooden flooring and thatched roof of a bygone era, this cottage exudes history and character. The bedrooms are large and comfortable, fit for a king! The cottage sleeps up to 7/8 persons per night. An aged kitchen is large enough to self cater, containing a fridge, stove & microwave oven plus all the necessities for cooking up a meal! The full bathroom features a shower and bath. The cottage overlooks rolling lawns in an established & well maintained garden. The pool may be enjoyed to loll away those hot summer days! Private secure parking is offered. Should you wish to dine out, there are many local eateries in and around the village. Wine tasting is a must in the Valley and for the more adventurous, quad biking, hiking & cycling are also offered.
