Description :	We are a working ostrich farm & 4 Star Guest Lodge!! Situated at the foothills of the Swartberg MountainS,14 km on your way from Oudtshoorn to the World Famous Cango Caves. We have a big variety of activities: 4x4 route, hiking, fishing, bird watching, two swimming pools , feed our tamed game, horse riding nearby and the Cango Ostrich Farm! and plenty more! Enjoy lunch or dinner in our a la carte Restaurant with a view of our game and the Grobelaarsriver that crosses our farm. It is a historic building with the Old Watermill still inside the Restaurant. Approx. 150 years old. The farm obtained its name from the old mill. All the wheat from the valley was milled on the farm. At that stage there were hundreds of mills all over the country. In Oct. 2003 we changed the old building into a la carte Restaurant. Restaurant open everyday. We specialize in venison and ostrich dishes. For those who don't like to go to the extreme, they can enjoy lamb, pasta and many more to choose from. Experience our NEW Belgian Chocolate & Local Wine Tasting!!! Direction :

Arriving from the Garden Route via George: Stay on the main road that you enter the Town with, and follow the main road. Pass 3 traffic lights. Follow the same road out of town. When you have passed the Cango Wildlife Ranch it is about 13km to De Oude Meul ( Old Mill) Schoemanshoek. Look out for our bord just before you leaf Oudtshoorn. You will be driving pass the Cango Ostrich Farm, and just a kilometer further you will see us on the left side of the road. Arriving from R62 in Oudtshoorn: Follow the main road as you enter Town. At the third traffic light, turn left into Baron van Reede Street. Follow this road out of town. When you have passed the Cango Wildlife Ranch it is about 13km to De Oude Meul ( Old Mill) Schoemanshoek. Look out for our bord just before you leaf Oudtshoorn. You will be driving pass the Cango Ostrich Farm, and just a kilometer further you will see us on the left side of the road. Arriving from the N2 via Mossel Bay: The two roads connect to one another just before you enter Oudtshoorn. When you have passed the Cango Wildlife Ranch it is about 13km to De Oude Meul ( Old Mill) Schoemanshoek. Look out for our bord just before you leaf Oudtshoorn. You will be driving pass the Cango Ostrich Farm, and just a kilometer further you will see us on the left side of the road.
