Description :	Retreat to the tranquility of nature where the cry of the fish eagle wakes you to an awesome sunrise. Treat yourself to a memorable, peaceful weekend away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in the comfort of our self catering apartments. Vredefort Dome: Just an half hour from Vaaloewer, we have our very own World Heritage Site. Just over 200kms in diameter, it was created when a giant meteorite struck the earth hundreds of years ago. The dome area is known for it's unique beauty and consists of valleys, mountains and small ravines covered in lush green flora. It is rumoured that the last ripples from the effect of the meteorite are right here in Vaaloewer, hence the hills and canyon. Parys: The town of Parys is situated about 35kms away from Vaaloewer, near the Dome. It is a quaint town on the banks of the Vaal River, which is known for it's antique and art shops, with it's own "Artist's Walk" in the main street. Emerald Casino: Half an hour away in the opposite direction you will find the Emerald Casino, on the banks of the Vaal River. There is an indoor adventure pool, bowling alley, putt putt course, and a zoo with game drives for the kids as well as adults. River Rafting: River rafting can be arranged for groups. Prices on request. Restaurants: There are many fabulous Restaurants in Parys, Vanderbijlpark and the Vaal Mall less than 30 minutes drive & a lovely homely restaurant in our village as well as a pub on the river. Clay Pigeon Shooting: More details to follow Cruises From the Heaven Marina Party Cruise: Heaven can arrange a cruise on the river for minimum 12 to maximum 25 people. A cruise can be for 1 to 2 hours & you are welcome to bring your own eats & drinks. This is a most enjoyable way to spend part of your day.

Directions Follow the N1 Kimberley/Bloemfontein (Concrete Highway) after Soweto follow N1 Bloemfontein. Go through the Grasmere tollgate. Take the POTCHEFSTROOM/VANDERBIJLPARK off ramp. (NUMBER 9) Turn right and cross over the N1. Travel 12km’s until you get LINDEQUESDRIF sign. Turn left and immediately left again into VAALOWER. Go through the security and stay on Vaaloewer Avenue. Travel approx. 2.5 km’s until you see the sign HEAVEN ON VAAL. Turn left into a tarred road. Follow the road to the white gate & call when you arrive. Please park your car on the right behind the green pallisade fencing DIRECTIONS FROM R59 VEREENIGING Take R59 and travel until you get the Vanderbijlpark turnoff. Stay on this road (Barrage Rd), go through all the traffic lights and pass Alex Roadhouse on your right, until you see a sign on your left POTCHEFSTROOM. Turn right at this point. Travel 21 km’s until you get LINDEQUESDRIF sign. Turn left and immediately left again into VAALOWER. Go through the security and stay on Vaaloewer Avenue. Travel approx. 2.5 km’s until you see the sign HEAVEN ON VAAL. Turn left into a tarred road. Follow the road to the white gate & call when you arrive.
