Description :	Welcome to Bretton Beach Crest, a family run self-catering holiday resort, situated in the beautiful seaside town of Port Alfred on the Sunshine Coast in the Eastern Cape. Whether you’re looking for a cosy romantic retreat, or a fun-filled family getaway, Bretton Beach has something for everyone. Bretton Beach is situated on the beachfront, 3km from the Kowie River Mouth and consists of 9 comfortably furnished, fully equipped beach cottages. Each cottage is privately situated, has a separate entrance and parking space and has either stunning views of the ocean or is right on the sand. The centre of Port Alfred in only a 5 minute drive away which offers all general shopping facilities, many restaurants, sporting facilities, boat hire, deep sea fishing, hiking and canoe trails, scuba diving, horse riding and golf at the stunning Royal Port Alfred Golf Club. All within 100m of the beach. Set in an unspoilt natural coastal dune forest. No busy roads to cross. Good bird life, fishing, shells and beach walks. Small buck are occasionally seen. Whales are often seen from June-Dec and dolphins through the year. Holiday Cottage Features: The cottages sleep a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children, and consist of 2 bedrooms – a main bedroom (with either a double bed or 2 single beds), a second bedroom (with a double bunk for children) and 2 single beds in the lounge area. All of the cottages are privately situated from each other. Most have sea views except for the closest 3 which have the primary dune in front of them - these are ideal for the families with very small children as they are then so close to the tidal pool.. Each cottage has it's own braai area with grid provided. The security gate at the resort entrance gets closed at night and each cottage has a monitored alarm system. The kiddies tidal pool in the rocks just in front of Bretton Beach is ideal for the little ones. Shell collecting, sand boarding, long beach walks, good birding and fishing – sea or river – all contribute to a relaxing family holiday. TV (SABC channels) and satellite dish (bring your own standard decoder for full DSTV).Extremely well equipped kitchen with microwave, gas stove and oven.Electric double door fridge / freezer.Bed linen is provided.Bring your own toiletries, bath and kitchen towels.Bathroom with shower over the bath.Separate toilet. Linen is supplied, guest are requested to smoke outside.

	Directions to the Accommodation
Direction :	Port Alfred is situated half way between Port Elizabeth and East London in the Eastern Cape on the R72 coastal road +- 160km each way). As you come into Port Alfred from Port Elizabeth take the first turn RIGHT. (From East London / Grahamstown continue down the hill, cross over arched bridge and continue on PE road until you get to the last road going out of town and turn LEFT) - van Riebeek St with our sign there - opposite the Caltex Garage), BEWARE SPEED HUMPS, road continues straight then bends around. Golf course is now on your left. Turn left at 4-way stop. Go down steep hill and at the bottom the road turns right. Continue +- 500m on tar and then the road becomes gravel. After +- 200m you will see our big sign board with reception to the right up our drive way. (GPS: S -33º 36' 55" E 26º 52' 42" at end of google map road but continue straight to our entrance at S -33º 37' 1.5" E 26º 52' 36" )
