Description : | Captain’s Cottage is a breezy beach cottage sleeping 4 to 6: There are 2 double bedrooms : Main bedroom has King bed, second has twin beds or a King bed on request; making this ideal for 2 couples sharing. For larger families a fold out couch in the living room makes an extra double bed, enabling 6 persons. Spacious living room has 2 couches and there is a door to a covered stoep. Bathrooms have bath with shower, vanity and toilet. Cottage has open plan, fully equipped kitchen. There is a door from the lounge to the covered stoep facing a private garden with a bbq area, while the stoep has a table/bench set where you can relax outdoors and enjoy the spectacular sunsets for which Noordhoek is famous. Facilities include : Large sparkling pool with sundeck Satellite TV Wifi Internet access Secure under cover parking inside our property 24/7 security We are ideally situated for all the attractions of the Peninsula and the Cape Point route convenient to the city. Nearby attractions include wind surfing, mountain hikes, whale watching and the famous penguin colony at Simonstown. Local attractions include : • Noordhoek long beach – 8 km of pristine white sand; ideal for surfing, kite surfing or just strolling. • Silvermine and Table Mountain nature reserve with scenic walks or hikes • Imhoff's Gift , farm stall complex and cheese factory on the Kommetjie road to Cape Point, where you can enjoy camel or donkey rides, or a variety of restaurants. Horse riding on neighbouring farms. • Simonstown, Naval base and seafaring town with its "Historic Mile " of beautifully preserved historic buildings dating from 17 th Century Dutch to Victorian, and the Boulders Beach African penguin colony. • Cape Point Nature Reserve where you can see the 2 Oceans meet in a spectacular clash and watch a variety of plains game. • Kalk Bay, a fishing harbour which is home to some of the best restaurants in Cape Town and a long street of historic buildings offering antiques, crafts, collectibles and art. • Cape Town city and the most successful waterfront development in the world with magnificent aquarium, shops, restaurants and boat rides is an easy 30 minute’s drive. |

Direction : | Directions from Cape Town International Airport: Take the N2 Highway towards Cape Town; as you approach the foot of Table mountain, take the left exit M3 Muizenberg, and travel until the end of this highway- past UCT and famous Bishop's Court. Continue on this road which becomes the Blue Route Highway across the Constantia valley until you reach a T-junction at the foot of the mountain and turn right towards Noordhoek (signposted). Take the first fork to the left into Ou Kaapse Weg and enjoy a scenic drive over the mountain, do not take the first Noordhoek/San Michelle exit at Silvermine Road but continue to the bottom of the valley and turn right into Noordhoek Ave, towards Chapmans Peak drive M6 (clearly marked with a large welcome sign ) Turn first right into Sea Cottage Drive- we are the log cabin at number 9- look out for the brown tourist direction signs. Directions from N1 Highway As you approach Cape Town you will note Century City; largest shopping mall in South Africa on your right. Move to the left lane and take the M5 Muizenberg exit. Proceed along this highway (Black River Park)a short distance keeping left, and take the N2 Cape Town exit to your left; the road sweeps sharply around and then you head toward the foot of Table Mountain.
